About TIM
Tim is a Registered Psychologist who lives and works on the Sunshine Coast. He completed his psychology studies in 1992 and has worked in clinical practice for many years. He is experienced in the areas of psychological trauma and counselling, anxiety and depression management, educational and career assessment, Workcover assessment and injury rehab counselling, and child and youth mental health. In his professional life as a psychologist Tim has worked for QLD Health, Workcover QLD, the University of the Sunshine Coast, and in the role of consultant psychologist to Education Qld.
As an evidence-based psychologist Tim approaches assessment, diagnosis and treatment from an integrated, functional health perspective. He collaborates with patients and other allied health practitioners in designing useful, effective and sustainable interventions. Tim adopts current neurological, biological, and nutritional research in his practice to achieve effective and positive change, along with interests in corporate health and wellness and achievement performance.
Tim’s humorous, easy going approach to therapy means that patients relax, connect, and “get on-board” with therapy early. Laughter is inevitable, and his ability to explain complex issues in simple, everyday terms means patients enjoy positive experiences and insightful conversations that build knowledge, skills and abilities.

SERVICES
Tim works with a range of clients, accepting mental health referrals for individuals from adolescence to adulthood, and tailoring practical evidence-based treatment to best suit client needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Neurofeedback therapy. He is a qualified neurofeedback therapist and provides EEG assessments and interventions to manage many conditions including PTSD, ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Depression and Optimal Performance.
